"Democrats Prasing John McCain"?

I can't believe anyone will buy this and actually think the democrats seen in the video are actually praising John McCain. First of all, all of these clips are a year old. Secondly, anyone can clearly notice the video is cutting off the criticism of John McCain right before and after the compliments were given to John McCain. Any comments in the video thinking this is accurate is sadistic joke. Could they not see how extremely edited the video is?

Katrina/Gustav Ad

Liberty's Liberals also has a YouTube account, to create ads, respond to questions and political events, and to directly address our readership.

Our first ad has been created, detailing McCain's lack of response to Hurricane Katrina and highlighting Obama's' aid and support of New Orleans and the damaged gulf.

Enjoy.

Tightness of National Polling

Many have commented on the apparent closeness of the race in what seems to be a Democratic year. At this point, Bill Clinton had a giant lead over incumbent George H. W. Bush as did many other Democratic contenders in their respective elections. On average, Obama has only been 1-3 points ahead on the Rasmussen and Gallup daily tracking polls, raising questions about Obama's credibility and ability to win the White House.

I'd take the polls with a grain of salt, however. When polling organisations do their polling, they tend to do it with "likely voters," or people who have voted before and likely to come out again; polls have generally ignored the young first time voters that defined Obama in the primaries and led him to victory. Could it be on election day, we'll see Obama pull upsets in many swing states and weak republican states because the young vote factor was ignored? It's probable.

Obama has ran gargantuan registration drives throughout the country, and I doubt those new voters are being polled. We'll have to wait and see until Election Day to find out, but it's something to think about.

Introduction

Hi, I'm Woaz and my partner Krayzee and I have made the blog Liberty's Liberals. We're both from California (I'm from Los Angeles and he is from San Francisco, respectively) and we both share many Liberal view points; I am a student and Krayzee is a member of the USMC. We have come together to blog about our views and bring you news from the political world. All are welcome to read, Liberals, Moderates, and Conservatives, as we'd love to hear all sides of the arguments and issues in our comments and blogging posts.

Krayzee and I both support Barack Obama for President and voted for him in our state's Primary.

Enjoy your time here and feel free to comment on our posts with your opinions and ideas, we love to hear them!
